The 2024-25 Breck/Blake Boys Swim team continued their successful journey of winning the Section 2A True Team Meet this past weekend at the Oak Grove MS in Bloomington, MN. The team won a total of 7 out of 11 events accumulating a total of 1153 points to place 1st at the meet.  Henry Webb continues to have an unbelievable season winning events and breaking pool records. He was on the winning side in 4 total events. There were 2 of the events he won individually: 500 Yard Freestyle & 200 Yard IM. The other 2 events he won with his teammates Ryan Lee, Nate Like, and Chase Xiong in the 400 yard freestyle Relay. Isaiah Jacob, Teddy Frerichs, and Dominic Bollettieri joined Henry in winning the 200 Yard Medley Relay. The remaining competitions belonged to an assortment of swimmers. Teddy Frerichs took the high time in the 100 yard butterfly. The 200 yard freestyle relay was won by Dominic Bolletieri, Teddy Frerichs, Nate Like, and Isaiah Jacob. And lastly, the 7th event won by a Bearstang in the 100 yard backstroke was Minh Truong to complete a majority collection of wins overall for the team! It is worth noting that 2 Bearstangs came in 2nd and 3rd in the 100 yard freestyle: Justin Barry (2) and Nate Like (3). This team is again on pace to win their 9th record setting state championship in a row!
