WELCOME TO YOGA AT BLAKE!
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This winter session, Blake offers yoga for credit and relaxation. The bi-weekly 90 minutes sessions include yoga poses, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques that promote physical and mental self-awareness, improve strength and flexibility, concentration and stress relief. Students should come wearing comfortable leg-covering work-out clothes, such as yoga tights. Short shorts are not permitted.Â
Classes will take place in the Upper School’s basement weight room beginning Monday November 10th at 3:15pm. For sanitary reasons, we encourage you to bring your own yoga mat. Props are provided. Attendance is recorded.
Classes are taught by Yoga Alliance RYT-500 certified Yoga Instructor and Yoga Therapist Zabeth Cornelius-Knudsen.Â
See her website www.ZYogaguide.com for more information on her experience and background.
