Boys Basketball

Girls Basketball

  • 5 seed in Section 4AAA lost to St Anthony in Quarterfinals

Fencing

  • Head Coach: Harold Buck

  • Overall State Champions for Men’s & Women’s this season. Also won the Men’s and Women’s Saber State Championship at Mankato. Jeffrey Chen won the State Men’s Saber individual championship.

  • First Team All-State: Sam Morris, Jeffrey Chen, Cici Mendoza, Chizo Nwokocha, Mirah LUkis, Alvin Liu, Luca Racciatti, Madeleine Hou, Alessandra Duda

Alpine Ski

Nordic Ski

  • Good season overall. Had 1 skier qualify and participate at the State Meet. Jack Rudolph placed 33rd in the individual classic race.

Boys Swimming

  • Head Coach: Brian Wright

  • The Boys Swim and Dive continued their excellence with successful meets throughout the season, section competition, along with attempting their 9th consecutive State Championship. The team finished 4th at the state meet.

  • Section 2A Champions

  • All Section Team: Dominic Bollettieri, Max Cockson, Alex Du, Isaiah Jacob, Luken Stay, Henry Webb, Minh Truong, Ryan Lee, Chase Xiong, Christian Xiong.


Girls Hockey

  • Head Coach: Kristi King

  • The Girls Hockey team tripled their wins this season ending with a record of 15-11-1. They ended up losing in OT, 2-3 in the section semifinals against South St. Paul. Co-Conference Champions with Breck. The team was ranked in the top 10 all season long. They beat Dodge County in December who ended up going on to be the Class A State Champions. 

  • Janie McGawn committed to Dartmouth and received All State and IMAC player of the year.

  • Addie Wethington received All State Honorable Mention.

  • Conference Record: 1-1 (Breck) 

  • Overall Record: 15-11-1

    • All-Conference: Callie Arthur, Ella Bond, Janie McGawn, Mak Williams, Leila Dalum, Addie Wethington

    • All Conference Honorable Mention: Bryn Heinmiller, Hannah Jones, Elizabeth Salonek

Boys Hockey


Blake Boys Hockey had a very successful year.  The previous year, the team went 2-24.  We had a 17-win improvement.  The culture grew tremendously.  The leadership of the team was outstanding.  The coaches did a wonderful job.  The Bears won the IMAC Championship.  They lost in the playoffs to Holy Angels.  Rob McClanahan retired as Head Coach after an extremely successful run, including a State Tournament 3rd place in 2020.  JT Wyman has been named Head Coach.
